സംസ്ഥാന ലോട്ടറി ഡയറക്ടറേറ്റിന്റെ ശുപാർശ പ്രകാരം ഇത്തവണ 25 , 28 , 50 കോടി രൂപയുടെ സമ്മാന തുകയിൽ ഉള്ള ടിക്കറ്റുകൾ ഇറക്കാനുള്ള അനുമതി ധനവകുപ്പിനോട് ലോട്ടറി വകുപ്പ് അനുമതി തേടിയിരുന്നു. ഇതിൽ 25 കോടിയുടെ ടിക്കറ്റ് സർക്കാർ അംഗീകരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. 500  രൂപയാണ് ടിക്കറ്റ് നിരക്ക് .

ചരിത്രത്തിൽ ആദ്യമായാണ് 25  കോടി രൂപ എന്ന തുക കേരള ലോട്ടറിക്ക് സമ്മാന തുകയായി നൽകുന്നത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ മൂന്ന് വർഷങ്ങളായി 12  കോടി രൂപയായിരുന്നു ഒന്നാം സമ്മാന തുക  നൽകിയിരുന്നത്. ഇത്തവണ രണ്ടാം സമ്മാനമായി 5 കോടി രൂപയും , മൂന്നാം സമ്മാനമായി 1 കോടി രൂപ വീതം 10 പേർക്കും  നൽകും. 

18  ജൂലൈ തിങ്കൾ മുതൽ വിൽപ്പന ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതിനാണ് ഇപ്പോൾ തീരുമാനിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. 90  ലക്ഷം ടിക്കറ്റുകൾ അച്ചടിക്കുവാനുള്ള തീരുമാനം ഉണ്ടെന്നാണ് അറിയുന്നത്. 10 ശതമാനം ഏജൻസി കമ്മീഷനും മുപ്പതു ശതമാനം നികുതിയും കഴിഞ്ഞു 15.75 കോടി രൂപ ആയിരിക്കും ഒന്നാം സമ്മാനം അടിക്കുന്നയാൾക് ലഭിക്കുക.

കഴിഞ്ഞ ഓണത്തിന് 54 ലക്ഷം ടിക്കറ്റുകൾ ആണ് വിറ്റു  പോയത് . സമ്മാന തുക കൂട്ടുന്നത് കൂടുതൽ ആളുകൾ ടിക്കറ്റ് എടുക്കുന്നതിനു കാരണമാകുകയും അതുവഴി സർക്കാരിന് വരുമാനം വർദ്ധിക്കുന്നതിനും വഴിയൊരുക്കും എന്ന് വിലയിരുത്തപ്പെടുന്നു.

As per the recommendation of the State Lottery Directorate, the Lottery Department has sought permission from the Finance Department to issue tickets with prize amounts of Rs 25, 28 and 50 crore this time. Out of this, 25 crore tickets were approved by the government. The ticket price is 500 rupees.

For the first time in history, an amount of Rs.25 crores is given as prize money to Kerala lottery. For the last three years, the first prize was Rs 12 crore. This time 10 people will be given Rs 5 crore as second prize and Rs 1 crore as third prize.

The sale is now scheduled to begin on Monday, July 18. It is known that there is a decision to print 90 lakh tickets. After 10 percent agency commission and 30 percent tax, the winner will get Rs 15.75 crore.

Last Onam, 54 lakh tickets were sold. It is estimated that increasing the prize money will lead to more people buying tickets and thereby increasing revenue for the government.
